Scrambling for first 15 mins

Hey, About a month ago i started noticing that when i turned my tv and was watching tv through my cable box it was scrambling at the top of the screen, but after about 2 mins it would clear up and be just fine. Now its 10 times worse and the whole screen is scrambled and has lines all over, but now it takes about 20 mins to clear up and it doesnt even clear up all the way.

My Toshiba 60 inch starts off fuzzy for 15 min or so, then seems to "warm up" and clears up. It seems to be taking longer and longer as time goes on. Any solutions suggestions?

That is the exact problem I am currently having with my toshiba 50 in. I did some reading and it sounds like there is a temperature drift across one of the capacitors on the board and it takes longer and longer to warm up. Havent fixed it yet...

When I turn the TV and cable box on the TV will turn itself off and on for about 20 min before staying on. If I turn the TV on alone, leave it for 15 min, then turn the cable box on it's ok, Why?

The cable box is having trouble talking to the television using hdmi. This could be an upgrade issue or compatibility issue with HDMI versions.

No remote and do not know passcode

Not nearly enough info here, but I would suggest unplugging everything from everything, waiting about 15 minutes, re-plug - starting with the cable box, wait another 15 min., plug in the TV and turn them on at the same time. If you still can't get straightened out, return the TV to its factory settings and go from there. if that fails, I don't know. . .

Hi, I have a LN52A850 which i purchased over a year ago. The 1 year warranty has expired. Almost a month ago i spotted a pink thin horizontal line on the middle of the screen while watching it. It stays...

The display is controlled by the T-CON board. You may have faulty contacts on the connector for this board or a bad board. If the connector is cleaned it may improve. Sometimes disconnecting and reconnect the cable can solve the problem. The heating/cooling cycle from turning on the set can make the contacts loose.

Philips FTR 9964 Receiver Problem

The problem is in your cable connection on the back of your monitor or Box. I had the same problem and solved it by reattaching the VGA cable that was loose.
