Sewing Machine The bottin in the piece of Junk Brother Sewing Machine, why I bought it, is beyond me. I have a great Necchia over 60 years old no problems. Anyway with the piece of foregin made junk, the bobbin continually binds, jumps up, jams, grabs the thread from the spool on top of the machine entwines this also with the bobbin thread. I am at wits, end, What is the problem with the piece of junk??? Sandi Massachusetts

Check if you are using the original bobbin... There are some similar bobbins but they are not the same...

My granddaughter received a Brother Project Runway Model LS2300 PRW machine for Christmas 6 years ago. It has never been out of the box until today. The takeup lever does not move when the handwheel is...

I suspect the bobbin winder did not return to full left (off) position.

Try moving bobbin winder all the way to the right and then all the way back to the left.

HOW TO CHANGE THE OLD BELT ON THIS MACHINE

The one thing on a sewing machine that needs the most repair work is the belt. The sewing machine belt is a piece of rubber that makes the wheel turn and the needle go up and down in a sewing motion. If the belt is in bad shape, the sewing machine will not work. Sometimes while sewing you may notice a burnt rubber smell. When you smell this, you know it is time to change the belt. Changing a sewing machine belt is fairly easy; just make sure you have the proper belt.

I keep breaking needles on my Brother 1034D.

Sounds like your timing has messed up ... your booklet should tell you how to adjust this. If you do not have the book, Google "Setting the timing on my Brother 1034D" and you should be able to figure it out using a video or someones procedure ... good luck!

Cotton breaks on Brother Embroidery Galaxie 2100 machine

Try turning down your top tension setting a bit. If its at 4 or 5, i would turn it down to about 3 ish. Cotton thread is more brittle than polyester and rayon thread.

Hope that helps :)
