Question about Canon PIXMA MP830 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Bands are approx one-tenth inch wide and appear across entire page and affects all colors. It also happens when printing in grey scale. Tried cleaning, alignment, new ink cartridges, different paper, different print qualities. The bands almost appear as one band is in draft printing and the next band is in standard printing.
The most common cause of this is a failure in one of four earth circuit in the print head. It is not repairable

Perform Print Head Alignment
perform a Print Head Alignment directly from the machine. If diagrams
or ruled lines are misaligned, print head alignment is required. The
print head alignment can be performed automatically or manually. If the automatic print head alignment does not work, adjust the print head manually.
