Projection My repair man gave me a new black box, (presuiming I could install it i guess) I can figure out all the wires, Im just not sure how to remove the larger colored wires from the base of the bulb. The new focus box has bare wires on the larger wires. I just dont know if those just pull out or what at the base of the bulbs. Someone help!!

My lemax house had it's volume/( black box) elictrical smashed . how To I repair it. Can you help me?

Glue doesnt do much. if your lemax house over-heats the glue previously applied will simply tear off. I have recently smashed my volume box as well and im afraid i have no advice =(. I had to replace with a brand new one because the repair were even more expensive than a new house. im sorry.

Tv powers off and on about 3 times then a little black box in back starts sparking. Its a 52 inch RCA. Thanks.

Be careful , can start a fire, keep unplugged,. you may have to get a repair man to look at it. Sounds like a short to me.

Black pixels in shading and back ground turning red

This is not a "rear projection" plasma TV for whiuch you offered solutions, It is the LCD Flat panel the Liquid Crystal Display a 40" Samsung. I do not think this problem is a dead pixel as that woulde be "black" Reading on the web I found only one post that appeared to be the same or similar and the person said somehing about "switching the red wire" Maybe it is a "stuck" pixel -- sticks on red once in a while. Like previously after the first time it occured it has not come back in three days now. Samsungs repair comes today i will cross my fingers.

Some things are better to have an in-home TV repair man come and look at. This is defiantly one of those occasions. Check to make sure all your cables are secure. Trade inputs with your devices such as your DVD player, cable box, ect. If you are still having a problem call a repair man.

Tv has bad blue crt (pix tube) said the repairman

blue tube is very common on this type of tv, His prices are very fair.My concern is the other tubes i usually could tell if the other tubes looked ok. If he says they seem fine. And you like this tv it is worth fixing. Make sure if you do say yes you get a 1 year warr on tube and a warr on labor,

Im not sure if you got price with yoke assy to or just tube. It is very hard to put yoke in tube and have it adjust properly. make sure when you talk to him it
is a new tube and yoke assy , If not dont fix.

thanks doctor video ladingedgeelectronics.

Samsung 42" rear projection HD tv issue

1 they are either rebuilt or a defective returned to stock accidentaly
2 yes securly attaching it helps the heatsinks keep even cooler. no you don't need heatsink grease.
3 if the tolernace is very far out of wack then it woun't take long befor they blow. once you have instaled the new board turn on the set enter mute,1,8,3 then perfect focus on the remote let it do it's thing then shut off the tv and resart the tv and press perfect focus again.
