My CDX-C5000X start and stop working whenever it pleased. maybe its a quastion of temperature or bad contacts ?
I had the same problem, so i opened it up and say that a big black transistor was leaking white fluid that hardened. it was right near the back of the unit I'm trying to look for a new transistor to replace it and if i find one ill let you know.
