Instruction manual for Solis Master5000 / digital

Hi
I have benn given a Solis Master5000 / digital unfortunately without an instruction manual Currently the language is set as German and I need the English setting. Not only do I need a manual but also is there a call centre that will talk me through changing the language setting?

Turn on the machine. Hold down the button that says steam/enter (the one below the blue button) until it says "Sprache" and "Wasserh.." . The cursor will be blinking beside Sprache. Use the down/up arrows (the large coffee and espresso cup buttons) to scroll until you find English. Hit 'enter' (steam/enter button) to set the language to English. Hit 'escape' (the tall coffee button) and your language should be set to English. You can also go to solis.ch and download a manual for your machine. Good Luck!

Usually Bi-Metallic strips are used as thermostat so they show very low resistance i.e. almost zero.

I have followed instructions on setting up. I was given machine by relatives. It is not working properly saying there is no water but the jug has water in it. I have looked at manual and tried everything....

There should be a red magnet in the water tank. If its not there, thats your problem.

My Solis master 5000 leaks water from the removable water decante

Hi
On top of the machine under the water tank is a doughnut cover. Pry the cover up and it should pop off. There is a black seal in the center that will shrink over time with calcium and that just needs to be replaced. When you go to replace it it will not slip in. You need to run your finger nail around the bottom of the seal to get it in. Then it will push down. Flat part of the seal up.

Solis Master 5000 won't warm up

Hi
Sometimes when you first turn the machines on you need to run water through the wand to get them to start heating. If you have run water through the wand and it still won't heat up, you could have a bad board or sensor wire off, boiler wire off, bad element or thermostat.

Solis Master5000 no water or steam

Can you get hot water from the unit? If yes then the pump is working, next thing is have you tried to set the grind to the coarsest setting, if yes then there is a blockage in the line, try descaling the machine, if that does not fix it, you might have to open it up or send it into a repair center.
