My Computer Completely Freezes Everytime I Listen To Music

This is how it happens: I go to Windows Explorer on my Task Bar. It automatically goes to the libraries page. I click the Music Library. All the songs and soundtracks I have are in the library. I click one then on the right hand side pops up the Windows Media Player Rich Preview screen. I click the play button. Then at the end of the song the laptop completely freezes and no matter how many buttons I push or what I click it stays frozen then I have to do a hard restart. Please help if you can i'm about to chuck this thing out a window!! : {

You can download a software called CCleaner. This helps clearing all the temporary files in the computer. Once all the temporary files are cleared the problem won't occur. If the problem persists, then listen to music in lighter players like VLC or Winamp.

SOURCE: Start up stuck on Acer Arcade Deluxe screen

if you can boot into safe mode by pressing f8 at startup, check the startup folder for acer arcade and remove it if present. From your start button go to (start-programs-startup).

another option is to check the run key in the registry: one caveat though - please don't mess with things in the registry you don't understand. Deleting or changing unknown registry keys can result in a non-booting pc.

please stick strictly to my instructions and you will be fine. We're going to look and see if windows is calling the acer arcade to run at boot time:

click your start button and type 'regedit' (no quotes in the start search field. A window titled 'registry editor' will appear. Now, to expand a field in the registry, we left-click on the triangle on the left side of the field.

so, click the triangle beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
go down to 'software' and click the triangle beside it. go down to Microsoft and click the triangle, go to windows and click the triangle, go to current version and click the triangle, go to run and click on the run folder, not the triangle beside it.

Now look in the list of items in the run folder. these are all items that run when your pc boots. If you see an item with 'acer arcade' or just 'arcade' in the name, then delete it. DO NOT DELETE ANY OTHER REGISTRY KEYS....PLEASE!
if you found acer arcade and removed it then reboot and all should be better. if not, boot to safe mode again, click start button and type in 'msconfig' - no quotes. go to the startup tab, and again only uncheck anything with acer arcade in the name.

Hope this helps!!

SOURCE: itunes file twice the size as library

when you add music to your itunes library, it copies them to the itunes music folder for itunes to manage it or itunes has every song twice in its library, to check whether itunes has not copied your music twice, view your music in LIST VIEW in itunes and if you see some songs has been copied twice delete on of them.
You can also delete the songs on your music folder to save disk space or you can leave them if you use another music player other than itunes.
But I think you should delete the files in your music folder.

SOURCE: I have Ezbook PC-7.. Is it possible to upgrade

Hi.

Apparently Microsoft are releasing evaluation (trial) versions of Windows Embedded Comapct 7 which is based on the Windows 7 environment and Windows Embedded POSready 7 also based on Windows 7.
You can download either by clicking the link below. The normal version of Windows 7 cannot be installed on the netbook because the processer doesn't support it.
If you don't want to download in trial the embedded versions then you will just have to keep on updating embedded 6.0 Pro and hope they fix the bugs with the system.

Good luck and regards.

Solve black screen after windows bootup

After logging on there is no desktop, task bar, system tray or side bar. Instead you are left with a totally black screen and a single My Computer Explorer window. Even this window might be minimized making it hard to see.
1. Restart the Computer and login with the login and password that you use.

2. If the black screen appears and there is no icon visible on screen, Press the “ALT + CTRL + DEL” keys on the keyboard together.

3. A windows will appear with option to launch Task Manager, Simply Launch Task Manager.

4. On Task Manager, go to Application Tab and Click on New Task

5. Now type "explorer.exe" in the task window and click run.

Xp toolbar missing completely. Does anyone out there know how to get it back? Thanks

I will recommend to use this TOOL. By the way, are you sure your PC is not infected with spyware? Missing a tool bar is kina an indication of worm infection.

I HAVE A WINDOW XP HOME EDITION AND WHEN I START MY COMPUTER THE ONLY THING THAT COMES UP IS THE BACKGROUND. THERE ARE NO ICONS OR A BAR AT BOTTOM OF SCREEN.

the icons and the bar(task bar) at the bottom of the screen are enabled by the explorer.exe file

it starts automatically but in your case it is not starting

to start it when your computer starts and comes at the desktop, press alt+ctrl+delete button at the same time to bring up the task manager

when you do this a task manager shows up in a window

in task manager window click on file, it will be located on the top left portion on task manager

now click on "new task(run)"

this opens another window, in that window type
"explorer"
without the quotes "" and press enter
this will bring you icons and task bar at the bottom of the screen

Unable to put in music

You probably have your Windows Media Player set up to auto-sync - since this player is smaller than your total music collection, it is too much for both WMP and the Sansa. Disable auto-sync and you should be fine. Windows Media Player 10 is fine. Windows Media Player 11 works also.
