Re: Super G 802.11g/b
Ok look in device manager down the list to your wireless card and see if it is listed, if so check that there is not a red cross on it, if so right click and select enable.
if a yellow exclamation mark driver not recognised with card.
If it is listed and you are unable to enable it restart the pc and press F2 or DEL to enter your bios and on the peripherals menu, see if the wireless controller(if it is built in card) is enabled.
If non of the above works, then the code 10 would normally be refering to a faulty peice of hardware.

remove all usb device expect keyboard, and mouse
CP + sound, and push test here, sound is dead.
then CP +device manager.
right click, the sound chip see below as 1
2: click details tab.
3: click hardware Ids
(report your code here and things get 10000x more easy, for sure.
Ven means vendor.
Dev means chip name (codes)
only this matters, we then see of the maker , even has a working w10 driver or at least VISTA.
Get the detail of the problematic driver in the Device Manager (and post it here please):
[Start] Control Panel, System, Device Manager, [Component Name], [Component with Exclamation], [Right click], Properties, Details tab, Property pull down; chose Hardware Ids and write down the VEN and the DEV sections in the Value's box (including the VEN and the DEV words)
Please do not download drivers from questionable websites because it may contain malware.
turn your pc on and right click on my computer and go to manage in the left hand pane click device manager.
now click on the Bluetooth device if you cant see it and it just says unknown then its that one/
once you have it right click and go to properties and then driver
in the drop down menu below change it to hardware ID's
you will be presented with some gobbledygook that looks like
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0141&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A2
what you want from this is the ven and dev numbers
so ven: 10DE and dev:0141
take these to the website pcidatabase and search ven then dev this will give you the specific device.
once you have it copy the name into your search engine followed by driver and your OS
turn off your pc and plug your graphics card into the correct PCI slot.
turn your pc on and right click on my computer and go to manage in the left hand pane click device manager.
now click on the display adapters and choose the graphics card you are trying to install.
once you have it right click and go to properties and then driver
in the drop down menu below change it to hardware ID's
you will be presented with some gobbledygook that looks like
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0141&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A2
what you want from this is the ven and dev numbers
so ven: 10DE and dev:0141
take these codes to the pcidatabase website and search the ven number then the dev number once you have done that find one where the numbers match and tehn go looking for that type of driver for your OS
unfortunately there isn't a website that just hosts drivers for all technology but there is something that can help.
first right click on my computer and go manage, once their go to device manager and then to the device that is missing the driver so this will be your LAN connection.
right click this and go to properties then to the tab details
in the window below there is a drop down menu change this to hardware ID.
and it should look something like this
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBSYS_0C24105B&REV_10
what we are after is the numbers after VEN and DEV so:
VEN 10EC
DEV 8169
the VEN number is for Vendor I.e. who makes it the next is what device it is.
armed with both of these go to pcidatabase and search the VEN and then DEV till you find the numbers that match once you have this copy what it says the device is, paste this into google and then add driver and what ever OS it is so example
Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family PCI Gigabit Ethernet NIC windows 7 driver
of course if you use a 64bit OS check that it is a 64bit driver
You must used your ethernet cable first or your LAN for us to get internet then check device manager for the check the exact driver for your wireless. check the properties and driver details.
You must download driver by link http://www.driver-id.ru/download-f.pci-ven-14e4-dev-4315-subsys-000b1028.html . Then you must install driver manually by going to right-click "my computer"->manage-> device manager-> other devices-> right-click on network controller(or something else, i don't know how it written into english Windows XP) -> Update driver-> No))->install from scpecifying place->Next-> and specify the place where driver on.Test your wireless , Go to network and and internet connection and connect to wireless to detect your router.. Hope this can help you...
Go to Device Manager and locate the WLAN device Instance id and post it
back here. It's a string like this
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_E0001458 translate of this it would be pci ven 10ec dev 8168 .. put it on google and you will find your driver or look at this http://www.adventsupport.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6124 .. guy had same problem...
Look for the brand name of your modem and model. You can find it in the box of the modem. If you have it then go to there website in the internet and download there the driver.
To find and install the driver for the simple communications controller:
Go to Device Manager and click on the pci simple communications controller
Go to Properties and then Details. You will see a code like PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS... The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device: in the example the vendor is 8086 and the device is 27D8.
Once you have the two codes, go to www.pcidatabse.com. Enter the two codes and you should get the name of your hardware.
From there, you can search for a driver download for your hardware.
Excellent advise as well as precise....I Thank You Much! Unfortunately, it appears the latter of your info (faulty) yellow ! on device and are in resource error as not loaded. Thanks again, as I add also that card was operating fine prior to this issue. HSPD!
