I just bought my first yoga mat and went to use it for the first time and I am slipping everywhere. Is there something I can do to prevent slipping?

Ask in your neighborhood about a center for collecting used mats. Try contacting studios and see if they need used mats. If neither of these options work out, then you should recycle your old mat. Jade has a great campaign for collecting old yoga mats. Check their website and see if they have a collection center near you.

I am also a yoga enthusiast. I had my eye on a mat from Lululemon for ages and finally bought it. I must say that it was the best investment I have ever made. I suggest checking their mat out; however you may also want to look around a little before committing.
