From what you have described sounds like you need to have the oven reset. Unfortunately, if resetting it at the household circuit breaker does not prove to be successful, then you will need a professional technician to pull the unit out of the cabinet/wall and reset it from the back panel.

SOURCE: After light cleaning-Electrolux Ew30ES65 upper

I had the same issue with my EW30EW55GS. This is the second time! The dirst time, the technician replaced all the circuit boards (took a month to get the parts). I figured, I would try a light cleaning again. SAME THING! Again, I'm without an oven for no telling how long. The oven looks great, but don't be fooled - it's a piece of junk!

Check to be sure your racks are all slid in to the back. Are you getting a error code?

When I try to use the 'clean' function it tells me to remove my racks even though they already are removed. Today, I'm trying to heat the oven to 350 and it's been over an hour and we are at 129.

That message is just a reminder to remove the racks. The oven cannot sense if they are in or out. Since you did not post the model number, it is not possible to offer any other info

Electrolux Icon range won't self clean - "Remove Racks" displayed

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are unable to self-clean your Electrolux Icon range, model# E30SO75ESS, due to it stating "Remove Racks", when you already have. Please follow these instructions for cleaning your oven:

1. Remove the turntable from the oven before the Refresh Cycle. No food should be in the oven.
2. The Refresh Cycle is 30 minutes.
3. During the Refresh Cycle some smoke and odor may occur. Open a window or use the ventilation fan in the room.

If this does not help, I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging your appliance or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try the "Refresh cycle". I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My electrolux EOD 3360 bottom oven is getting too hot. The oven temperature light stays on even at the lowest setting or defrost setting. The inside of the oven is literally roasting hot, and anything I...

1 . If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
2 . If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat
3. A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

How do I clean my Electrolux Icon Oven?

Which Electrolux Icon Oven do you have?

For most ovens, with a use a cloth and hot soapy water (do not use an abrasive cleanser or an oven cleaner), clean the door and the frame of the oven outside of the gasket. Similarly, remove the heavy amounts of spilled food (get rid of sugary or highly acidic food spills particularly) in the oven. Take the oven racks and oven rack support, broiler pan and insert, utensils and any foil out of the oven. Then close the door. If you have a single oven, press Clean. If you have a double oven, select the oven to clean and then press Clean. Select the duration of the cleaning cycle (either by hours (2,3, or 4) or cleaning level (Lite, Medium or Heavy)). Some Electrolux ovens have buttons for the cleaning level otherwise use the up/down arrows. Then press Start. The door will lock and remain locked until the oven cools after the cleaning process. For a delayed cleaning cycle, make sure the time is correct on the clock and press End Time and enter the time you want the cycle to end and then Start.

Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated.

The manuals are available for most from the Electrolux site. Start at http://www.electroluxicon.com/ and search for your model. (Either search on the model at the top right or under Kitchen Appliances) If you find a page for that model, it will have a Specifications and Guides tab. The manual is in that tab as a pdf.

I hope this helps.

Some oven elements are "plug-in" style, held in place with spring clips, It is possible that they have dislodged during cleaning. Good luck, Rob
