Hello..my Apex 40 Inch Flatscreen TV Model GB5108 is not working right..my daughter left it on all night and it wont turn on...the screen is just black when you turn it on ...what should i do?

I had the same problem with mine, it turned out to be a fried audio board. I simply used the audio outputs on the back of the tv to drive a new reciever with surround. Sound a heck of a lot better than the speakers built into the tv.

Double images and colors are blurry .Blue,red and yellow wave coming up from the bottom of the screen on the lower left and fuzzy images this is a symptom is for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-xxx ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically change value,can caused truoble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is intallation guide including in the repair kit. I am not familiar with this particular set, but it sounds like you have no vertical deflection, which would mean your vertical output IC may be bad. The # on those ICs usually start with LA and is mounted to a heatsink.
