For some reason my camera is telling me that my memory is full, but there are no pictures on the memory card. I am sure that the card is in, and is in properly. When i connect the camera to the computer there are no files found in the camera folder meaning no pictures are on the card. Yet when i look at the information in the properties tab, it says that i have 0MB available. Are the files hidden? Is there a way to reset the memory card?

Re: casio ex-S500 memory full
Check the card to make sure it isn't "locked". SD cards have a tiny switch on their side which write protects them. If the card is "locked", then the camera can't write to it. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Secure_Digital_Kingston_512MB.jpg for a picture of the locking mechanism.
If this is not the problem, you can try reformatting the card. Although you can format it in your computer, it is much better to format it in the camera itself, since they are often finicky about the formatting details.

Hi, Here is a tip that may help you with your problem....
I found out that with my cameraI needed to transfer the pictures within the camera to the card and them fromthe card to the computer... The process for your camera may not be exactly the same, but should be similar.
