Question about Toshiba 19A25 19" TV
Your tv aet has to be degaused, or may be it is located to a nearby transformer or microwave oven. un plug the set and turn the tv 90 degrees. report what happen.

I had this problem, too. But then I turned it on, hit menu, channel down, and it started working again.

Since the set turns off, I would assume it's not a hook up problem. The problem is either a bad picture tube or a bad video output amplifier. Either one is a little pricey. I just Googled this set and the cost of repair would excede the replacement cost. Hope this helps.

My picture has a Green tinge. If we leave it in the blank ant type screen mode - eg no channel then their is a purple ring around the edge of the screen. The TV was fine until we connected a freeview box to check coverage (we don't have coverag) and now that we have returned everything to normal the TV has stayed in this state. It has not been next to a magnet or has not been dropped. We have checked all scart connections which seem to be fine. Help!
