    I tried recharging the rechargeable batteries, but that did not solve the problem. I then installed new batteries and that did not solve it either.

This camera has one main board that controls evey functions. To remedy the problem, you need to replace the main board. Kodak may have good flat rate for repair or replacement unless you want to upgrade to newer models for few more dollars. Good luck.

I had absolutely no power and I couldn't even jump

No Power? Do you mean that the engine would not crank when you turned the key? Did you have dash lights? Dome lights? If you had some kind of lighting, you had electrical power. and if that is so then it sounds like your transmission range selector switch may be faulty or needs adjustment. Or VERY POSSIBLY, you might not have put it ALL the way in Park when you turned the car off the last time. If you try it now does it start? If not try putting it into park a little harder. Does that work? If not put in Neutral and try it. If that works the Gear selector switch Is bad or in need of adjustment.

My toshiba satellite 2545 cds will not power up. the power supply cord works I have checked that. but I push and/or hold the on/off button...nothing. ideas?

Try this for me;

Take out the power cord;

Take out the adapter;

Hold power button for 30 seconds

Plug power cord back in;

Put batter back in;

and try to power it up again..

If the adapter is working (and you are sure of this?) your battery may be dead.

Also; try using JUST the adapter to turn it on after you repeat the steps above without putting the battery in.

Good luck;

We will go from there if this doesn't help you!
