Norelco Cool Skin 6702X - stopped working

Overnight, this suddenly stopped working - no green light and no warning. It was almost fully charged. Even when the head/cutter is off, nothing is turning - just dead. However, the green light came on when I put it to charge to see if that was the problem but no luck to get it working.

I have a Norelco 5822 XL cordless electric shaver. Suddenly it went dead and wouldn't take a charge. I took it to Batteries plus where the salesman said the batteries were completely dead. He changed the...

If the old batteries were corroded, that may have damaged the circuit board. If the batteries were getting hot before the shaver died, the heat may also have damaged the circuit board. It is also very possible that the salesperson did not do a good job installing them as they are not trained in replacing batteries in shavers.
