Panasonic ID-CODE Problem

I took my 2000 civic in Best Buy to get my stereo system fixed and finally when they were done it asked for my Panasonic CQ-VD7001U ID-CODE. I have never had this problem before and I have taken my stereo apart a dozen times. I tried the 0000 as the default but that did not work either, is their any other way to reset this deck. I have tried dealing with Panasonic and all I have gained from this is a million phone numbers and know body knows the answer to my problem. PLEASE HELP!!!

Turn unit on with remote and open screen. You will be prompted to enter a code. If you don't know the code, you can use this overide to get your unit working again. As stated above (unit on; screen open; prompting code). In the lower right corner you have a 4-way toggle used to skip track, etc. Hold this firmly to the right for at least 10 seconds and the unit should reset the code. Do not let go until this happens. Remember hold it firmly! This will work! You will need the remote to get the code prompt!

Hold the track button to the right for 10 sec. and it will auto enter it self, get the code. Then go to the ID code menu and enter a new one.

Good luck and let me know!!

I have a 2002 Acura CL Type S and I was hooking up my Amp and Subs and my unit shut down and then asked for a ID code. To save your self time and a headache just do what is above it works.

Stereo error code

There are numbers of possibilities that can make your Panasonic stereo system indicates an F61 error code. Almost 100%, the system may not be able to recover from that error code, thus, it is advisable to bring your stereo system to your nearest Panasonic repair center.
By the way, May I know the model number? ...

Battery wasnt conected good and the radio needs a code now

First, check all of the documentation which came with your car as it's normally written down somewhere (often in the service record). Sometimes you'll find that a previous owner has written the code inside the glovebox.

Otherwise, contact your nearest main Honda dealer.

The code can be supplied as long as you show proof of vehicle ownership along with sufficient ID and the vehicle's VIN number, but they are allowed to charge for it. In practice, asking nicely when they aren't busy often results in no charge and you can normally get the code for free if either having other work done to your vehicle by them or when buying parts from them. If they want to charge for the code under these circumstances then smile and politely tell them that you can take your custom elsewhere.

Note that if the radio has ever been replaced then the dealer will need to have the serial number from the radio. If you cannot remove the radio yourself to see the number then you will have to pay labour costs for it to be removed and refitted. The job is easily a half an hour task but the Honda service book probably quotes at least forty five minutes for the task.

Need a master code for mypanasonic strade cn-nvd905u lost my paper work in a split up

I also have a cn-nvd905u. I called panasonic and the treated me like a thief because I didnt buy it from a "authorized dealer". After running across a bunch of fake directions, I finally found the ones that work. the directions are:
you need to touch the screen right above and below the white box that says "input ID Code" in this order and I guarantee it will work.

Right up, left up, left down, left up, right up, left up
Enjoy
