Washer stopped during cycle

I started my front loader on the heavy duty cycle. After about 4 minutes it stopped and the timer started flashing. I also noticed all the lights on the left side ("add garment," "rinse," "door locked," etc) were not lite. I pressed pause cancel and the machine drained the water and allowed me to open the door. When I tried restarting it, nothing happened. The lights on the left still are not lite but the ones on the right are. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and still nothing! It is not even a year old yet!

The circuit breaker for the machine popped. When I reset the breaker the machine was in the spin cycle. It won't complete the cycle. I have flipped the breaker off and attempted to set the washer to the rinse and spin cycle, it added some water but would not spin. The add a garment and door lock light stay lit when I attempted to open the door by pushing the start/Pause button. The panel becomes dead at this point. I have flipped the breaker off and left it off for more than 5 minutes but the washer won't restart or open the door.

Frigidaire heavy duty super capacity 2 speed combonation sometimes goes through cycle fine but mostly continuously fills and drains at start S.N. XE32103237 - FEZ831CAS2

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

Hoover 700LB Stops at the wash during the wash cycle keeps clicking then starts again at the spin cycle

It sounds like the timer is bad. Try another cycle like delicate, or normal, or heavy duty. If everything works on another cycle then it is probably your timer. If it doesn't work and you have the same problem, then it is probably an expensive fix. Best of luck

During normal cycle agitation is a constant stop/start

Yes, the timer mechanism should be replaced asap. the timer has a motor that is responsible for the rotation of the device. This motor is damaged, in return, not allowing the normal cycle to initiate and transfer sequential information to the motor properly.

Replacing the timer will correct this issue.

Stops during rinse cycle

Dear customer,

We recommend the following when a washer's cycles dont advance..
  1. If the washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer does not advance, the timer probably needs to be replaced
  2. If the timer does not advance while the washer is in a spin cycle, the timer probably needs to be replaced
  3. If the timer does not advance during the rinse cycle, check whether water has filled the tub, if not, it is likely cold water related. Check the cold water supply valve, check the supply hose for kinks, check the filter screen and check the water inlet valve
For details on how to self test these parts plz refer to http://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/washer.php
Plz rate this solution.. thank you..
