Question about Kodak EASYSHARE Plus Series 3 Thermal Photo Printer

Connection on my kodak easyshare printerdock series 3, in the back where the cable comes out to go to the computer there seems to be a black piece of plastic that holds the cable end into the dock, somehow mine is not there anymore. can this be easily fixed and if so where can i get the part. thanks ted

The jack that is affixed to the board has already been damaged beyond repair, which means that if it were ripped out the odds of micro soldering those connections are not likely, (I've tried similar on cell phones they us a chemical soldering method and precision heating to make the connection, bet bet is to find a camera connection for the camera and transfer pics to the cam to print on the dock. Good Luck

You got it right - the Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-in-One uses 10 series Kodak cartridges, and
since your box says 10B+10C, it has (2) 10-series cartridges in it - one 10-series Black (10B), and

My Kodak Easy Share Printer Dock series 3 only prints half a page

Hello, try this and let me know.
Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.

How do we get the old toner cart out in order to replace it?

Check that the Paper light is not lit (from a paper error). Clear this error first by removing any paper jams, refilling the paper tray or other needed step followed by pressing the Print button.

To remove the color cartridge, open the cartridge door on the side of the unit. Push up on the green level and slide the cartridge out.

Take the new cartridge, make sure that the ribbon has no slack in it. If there is slack, push in on the cartridge spool and rotate it clockwise. (Do not turn this more than you absolutely must to take up the slack. It could reduce your number of prints.) With the label up and the arrow facing the printer dock, push the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Then press the Print button to clear the error and resume printing.

Hello,

one way or the other, someone must have change some settings on the Kodak EasyShare printer unknowing to you.

Since you do not know want was pressed to have caused this, the it would be better if you reset the printer. resetting will put the printer back to its default state. This will make the printer work fine as it has been doing before.

Or uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers. That is, detach the printer cord from your computer, uninstall the Kodak EasyShare printer dock Series 3 software, restart your computer and reinstall the software back just as you did when you first installed the printer to your computer.

This will help to rectify this problem.

The problem that you describe indicates that your Kodak EasyShare software has somehow become corrupted. Uninstall the software (use the uninstall feature, not just delete) then download and install the current software from the kodak.com web site (this is a no-cost download). That should cure the problem, but if it doesn't I suggest that you contact Kodak customer service via their web site.

Kodak Easyshare series 3 docking station won't download photos

No guarantee, but try these easy steps before you do anything else. Unplug both ends of the cable that connects the dock to the computer, wait a few seconds then plug them back in and try the transfer again. If that doesn't help, uninstall the EasyShare software, then go to Kodak.com and download/install the latest software.

How do I open Kodak easyshare 500?

When you lift up the back you need to disengage the ribbons and wires. There are clips the lock it in place then it pulls out.. Once you flip it all the way over the piece comes apart. You will need to also unscrew the ground wire. I'm still working on taking apart the mechanism underneath. Seems tricky.

Paper Jam / Printer Dock Series 3

try this no promises
unplug the power cord for 5 sec
paper should feed out after resetting
DONT EVER PULL ON THE PAGE WITHOUT THE MACHINE EXITING IT FIRST. THE TABS ON THE END OF THE PAPER BREAKS OFF INSIDE THE PRINTER DOCK.
check the back of the dock for the photo to eject as well as the front.
check paper size with new one after it exits to make sure no extra pieces are stuck in printer. good luck
DONT PULL ON PAGE JAM (UNPLUG FIRST(RESETS THE PAGE OUT THE BACK/FRONT))

Piece poped out of inside of the Kodak EasyShare printerdock 6000

I took my Kodak printer dock to Best Buy (where it came from 4 years ago) and they popped the black plasitc piece back in for me in two minutes. My unit works fine now.
