We have had this problem before, and i found a way of fixing it, but now i can't recall the proper procedure. it had something to do with pressing the channel buttons, or volume buttons on the console, simultaneously. i have tried both, but have not succeeded. No pop, no white line. please help!
Ok so the set is dead. I do not know what you did at one time to get the set to work but it seems the TV needs service or replaceing. The only thing is these days it will be less expensive to replace it then to repair the set. Good LuckOk so the set is dead. There was a recall on this type of issue. Check with your GM dealership for the recall on the gear shift indicator, perhaps it can be fixed with this recall.
something on the mainboard went bad and shut the tv down and whatever part it is will be on the new mainboard.by replacing the board you are replacing the problem
I have a similar issue. Sometimes the entire screen goes black and sometimes only one-half - either the top or bottom half goes black. The only solution we have found is to gently tap the TV (usually the front side) and the picture will come back for awhile. It almost seems heat related as it only goes out after the first 10 minutes of use. There must be a fix to this.
I had this problem and at the same time I was getting blue tint. When the blue got darker, this would happen, Adjusted the voltage on the guns (3 screws in the front - lower panel off) and the blue went away and it stopped turning off. But later, it would start all over again. Same procedure, same fix.
We don't have sound, no.
we replaced it. thank you.
