My tv went totally black

We have had this problem before, and i found a way of fixing it, but now i can't recall the proper procedure. it had something to do with pressing the channel buttons, or volume buttons on the console, simultaneously. i have tried both, but have not succeeded. No pop, no white line. please help!

Do you have the sound?

  • Anonymous Mar 17, 2007

Ok so the set is dead. I do not know what you did at one time to get the set to work but it seems the TV needs service or replaceing. The only thing is these days it will be less expensive to replace it then to repair the set. Good Luck
