Question about Panasonic CT-27HL14 27" TV

1 Answer

Colored Circles Okay, first of all, this is for a Palsonic 6830 GY, but I couldn't find the exact product and didn't find out how to post a completely new one. The Problem that we have is that after turning the unit of with the main switch on the unit, and turning it back on about 30 minutes later, I had rings of coulor on my screen. There is a red circle in the centre, taking up about 50% of the screen, this cirle is followed by a green ring around it taking up nearly the rest of the screen, with the edges of a blue circle just coming in on the edges. The picture from any input is still diplayed, but it is as if you are watching everything in negative colors. The unit was not moved, shoved or anything prior to thios problem, which has left me a bit puzzled... Any help/suggestions welcome.

I have a palsonic model no: TFTV492LED and I can't change it off AV1. I want to put it on HDMI I have no remote either.

Try the front panel button labeled Source; it's the second button from the left. (The first button is the Power button.) All of the buttons are on the right hand side of the bottom frame of the TV. Use the Channel Up/Down arrows to navigate through the list of inputs. Try waiting for the selection to take effect. (The documentation says press OK or the Volume Up button. Sometimes, the Source button on the TV functions as an OK button. This isn't clearly identified for the Palsonic.)

If the HDMI input is greyed out, the TV may not be seeing a compatible signal from the source. Try turning on the device when the TV is off, then turn on the TV. I'm not sure if this TV will correctly see the signal from a computer. However, on some laptops, you'll need to enable the external video first. This is disabled to save power. Then turn off the computer. Finally, turn on the TV before turning the computer back on.

Palsonic has the manual available for the TFTV492LED on the product (discontinued) site under the Downloads tab. See http://palsonic.com.au/archive/led-tv/tftv492led.htm . The direct link to the manual is http://palsonic.com.au/customer_service/led-instruct/Palsonic_TFTV492LED_Manual.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I have a Palsonic TV and a Chunghop Universal remote but I can't find the code for pairing the 2. Does Palsonic share codes with another brand.

Palsonic brand TVs have no set-up codes with Chunghop remote control. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the relative post easily.

Was wondering if you can hook up an external hard drive to the palsonic TFTV825Hd

if you put the TV in USB mode (the manual didn't say how, but I'd assume that there's a button on the remote with the letters USB or the USB symbol) page 25 of the users manual shows more detailed steps
