Cooking oil. Now 2 buttons don't work: number 1 and "hang up" buttons.
Shilon is right. Be carefull however, only the mainboard can be washed. Even if the display looks dirty or whatever, DON'T wash it with anything! This will damage it. You can wash the mainboard with izopropilic alcohol. This can be found at shops that sell electronic components. Cooking oil isn't an electric conductor, therefore the phone is in a pretty safe state now. However for the same reason, cooking oil as not being an electric conductor may prevent electric contacts to be established. Like when you push a button, a small contact is established on the mainboard in the buttons area. Oil may prevent this to happen.

Open the cell you can wash the plastic parts. On the cell himself you can clean with alcohol. It shudld fix the contacts.

Thank you Shilon and Bogdan. Both solutions were very helpful. The Nokia 3595 cell phone is back in operation. It was fairly easy to work on this one. Although it cost me $10 to get the right star screw driver ( miniature bits).
