Samsung DLP coloring issue after color wheel replacement. Colors pulse and change constantly. I adjusted the cca values to those that are on the sticker, but the problem continues.

if the picture is blue green there is a jumper to be removed on the dmd board on connector cn810--the index delay should be between 40 and 50 for optimum color --or adjusted for best flesh tone also in the options the cw setting should be set for cw2
There is a place for a jumper on your DMD (the module that the color wheel plugs in to) If the jumper is there remove it. If there is no jumper install one. On later models the pins are gone but solder pads are still there, solder it. Some wheels have air bearing and others have fluid bearing. You really should buy a service manual for that set. New color wheels sometimes come with CCA values that you must change in the service menu Good Luck
The new color wheel should have come with a sticker that has a table on it with a bunch of numbers filled in. I think you enter these numbers into the TVs maintenance mode: using the remote with the TV turned off, press
mute 1 8 2 power
The TV powers up and you will see a menu on the left side of the screen. I don't know the exact procedure, but look for something called CCA and then enter the numbers from the sticker.
I just replaced my color wheel and it came with the sticker, but I did not know what it was for. I lost the sticker (probably got thrown out with the packaging). Now must buy a new color wheel and take better care of the sticker.
If the color wheel you replaced was the BP96-00674A, it would have come with the proper cca adjustments for that particular wheel. You must enter the service menu and reset the cca's for proper color.
