HAVE SOMEONE PUT IN THE CODE AND THEN HOLD DOWN THE ENTER KEY. IF THE LED NEXT TO THE PROGRAM BUTTON FLASHES RAPIDLY THE KEYPAD IS SENDING A CODE. TRY REPROGRAMING THE KEYPAD.

IF THE LED DOES NOT FLASH, NO RADIO SIGNAL IS BEING SENT THE KEYPAD IS BAD.

My keyless entry pad will let garage down when code is keyed in, but when code has been keyed up to let it up it will not do so.

I assume you mean that the entry keypad works when the door is open but not when the door is closed. This usually indicates that the signal strength on the entry pad is low. Try changing the battery.

Insert a small Philips screwdriver in the opening on the bottom of the battery compartment cover. Pull the cover slightly outwards then pull the cover down. The battery in the compartment is a 9V battery. Then replace the cover by inserting the lip in the top of the battery compartment and then snap it into place.

If you change the battery quickly, you shouldn't need to reprogram the opener. If a new battery doesn't solve the problem, check what may be causing signal interference when the door is down. (Consider moving the keypad to a spot closer to the door opening. I know that we have the keypads placed on the side of the door jamb on our garage doors. When the small handheld remote units start to loose their batteries, bringing the remotes to that area that often works.)

I hope this helps.

I have a Merlin Powerlift model 430R roller door. The battery went flat in the remote and I replaced it. Now the door will not work via the remote.Works ok from red button on unit. I have tried to reset...

If the LED is flashing rapidly when the button on the remote is not pressed you have interference from something. Check for old remotes stored in a drawer somewhere or some new electric item nearby. Start unplugging things until that rapid flashing stops.

Tried to reprogram security code for outdoor key pad on 1/2hp craftsman garage door opener according to instructions online, pressed learn button- put in new 4 digit code-held enter. Lights did not flash...

Seems you've done everything right. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over and key in a 4 digit code and press enter. If you are sure the battery in the keypad is good then I think your keypad is on the fritz or the wrong one for that opener.

My remote opens my garage door but will not close it. It starts to make a clicking sound when the remote button is pushed to close the garage door. It is a chamberlain Liftmaster with wireless key pad....

Check your door sensors. Make sure they are pointed at one another and the small light on each one is lit and not flashing. Tweak them a bit. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have a bad sensor.

Craftsman Model 139.53684 Keyless entry doesn't work

The remotes and keypad use the receiver which is part of the logic board.'t The button on the wall is hardwired and doesn't use the receiver. You might pull the logic board and check for bad connections on the printed circuit.

Reset Craftsman keyless entry pad.

What you are asking for is not possible. You need to call a garage door repair technician. They will drill a hole through the door and using a special tool can pull the rope to release the door.

Key pad will not work to close after it just opened the door

I can't tell if you're question is accurate, are you saying that the key pad will only open the door and never closes it or that it will only do one direction then you have to use the remote? If you're saying the keypad will not close the door at all, that may be a safety issue since closing doors can potentially damage property or worse, if your saying the remote works both ways then you probably need to reset your opener and keypad. Cut the power to the opener, leave it disconnected for five minutes. Reconnect and try keypad again. If this doesn't resolve the problem them you may have a bad circuit and will have to call a pro.

Sears Wireless keypad will close door but will not open

If you are sure the battery is good than it sound like the keypad is bad and needs to be replaced. With a 6+ year old operator I would suggest a wired keyless entry (Donino GD-1) so if the operator has to be replaced you can use the same keyless entry.
