SOURCE: Weber Silver Genesis C regulator purging gas after reset process

This could be caused by a couple of problems. First the regulator could be bad, or the tank is getting to hot. Which causes the relief valve to open and release pressure. This will happen when weather outside is hot.

Assembly manual weber 310

i am having trouble lining the body of Weber Genesis 310 to the holes on cart sides. they seem to be off 3/8" towards front of grill. Could their spec be off or assembled incorrectly. I have gone over instructions several times & can't see where I went wrong.

There are several models of your grill depending on which years(s) it was manufactured. All are similar, but have different options. The link below is to the Silver B manufactured between 2002 & 2006.

Bought a weber genesis 320 Problem with the Weber Genesis E-320 Propane Grill bought a weber genesis 320 in US and need to replace the hose / regulator that it fits to German LP gas cylinders. Which...

Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.

Weber won't get very hot

Safety valve needs reset.
  • Close the LP tank valve
  • Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position
  • Open the grill lid
  • Turn the LP tank valve until it is completely open
  • Wait several seconds
  • Turn the front burner to the HI/Start position
  • Press the igniter until the burner is lit.
  • Turn remaining burners to High
  • Close the lid.
  • The grill should preheat to 500-550 degrees in 10-15 minutes
I called Weber and the rep walked me through the reset. All grills made after 1996 have this bypass valve.
