Repeat button everytime i play a dvd and it moves to a new scene, it starts to make a clicking noise. the only way to make it stop is to hit the repeat button, going from repeat a, repeat a-b, then repeat off. once i hit the repeat off button, it stops but as soon as it goes to a new scene, it starts again.

check blu ray dvd for finger prints or scratches. may need to clean the dvd disk with a soft cloth with pure alcohol or metho.

Try this

1.While the previews are playing, press the Menu Button on your DVD player remote to access the DVD's Main Menu.
2.Go to Scene Selection and press your Enter or Ok button on your DVD player remote.
3.Highlight Scene 2 and press the Enter or Ok button. This will start the DVD in Scene 2.
4.Use your rewind or reverse button on your DVD player remote to rewind back to the beginning of Scene 1.

I might be misunderstanding your questions - if so, I apologize.

First, make sure that the switch is on "camera" and not on "play" or "off." When it is on camera, you can then press the button below the word "DISC."

After you record a video, you can simply hit the record button a second time to stop the recording process. The video you just recorded will automatically be given a separate "scene" in the index. You can view the video by moving the selector switch to "play."

with regard to using the remote control :

Make sure the batteries in the remote are working (they go in the back of the remote at the bottom).

Turn on the DVD player with the power button on the DP300 itself (lower left). Open the dvd tray either with the remote (press open/close button, upper right) or with the button on the DP300. Put a DVD in the tray and close it with the remote or the button on the DP300. The DVD should load.

Use the arrow buttons in the centre of the remote to select choices from the onscreen menu of the DVD. Press Play (centre of the 4 arrow buttons) to activate the choice you want. For example, if you want to play a movie, use the arrow buttons to go up or down until "play movie" is selected, then hit PLAY, and movie will play. If you want to choose a scene/chapter of the movie, use arrow buttons to go up or down until Scene Selection or Chapter is selected (highlighted), and press PLAY. This should bring up a list of the scenes or chapters. Use the arrow buttons to select the one you want, then hit PLAY, and that scene should play.

If the DVD tray is taking less than 20 seconds to operate, there is likely no problem. If it is taking more, there may be. I think the mechanism that opens and closes the tray is often the first thing to stop working on DVD and CD players.

manufacturers issue. Get in touch with them they will arrange a replacement .

try pressing stop while at the menu. then stop again. then hit play. that works for most dvd players

I had the same problem - you are (as I was) turning off the camera too soon after you hit the stop button after recording a scene. Wait until the word "disc access" appears (about 5 seconds after you hit the stop button. This "marks" the end of the scene. I just don't know how to edit that scene out or if it will delete it out. I know after finalizing the disc that scene will pause for a while (10 to 20 seconds even) when you watch it through the DVD player to the TV.

When using a DVD-RAM disc, you can delete, move, divide, skip and repeat scenes as well as construct titled play lists and add wipe or fade video special effects via Hitachi’s Disc Navigation System.
