your surround sound system seem like having dry solder joint at PCB . one thing you can do is to open up the back cover first looks for dry solder joint ( if you can find ).if not just re-solder those solder looks very thin.it may help.

The only thing I can tell you is to check the cable if its plugged in correctly... wierd! might be electricity problem to where you moved it. Did you hit it while you were moving it?

I know that this sounds obcious but you need to connect the audio leads (L and R) from the player to the amp as well as the control connecter before you connect the speaker cables from the amp. Otherwise just connect the speakers direct to the player.

It would depend on a zillion things. Only a hands-on technician could answer it. Diagnosis and Labor costs can be open-ended.

Typically, modern electronics is not economically repairable. At $355 on Amazon for a new one, it could easily be cheaper to replace than repair.

i) If these error occur, turn the DR-1 power OFF and restart the unit. If the error message continues to appear, contact a TEAC Repair Center
other than that no solution we have so far.

I solved this by holding the power button down for 5-10 seconds. After a reset the drawer opened as normal.

I have the same problem. I have connected it to Philips TV, but there is no signal. I cannot even enter setup on Teac. The SETUP button is not simply working. Can anybody help? Please!
