Panasonic viera hd tv th 50pz80u

Shuts off for no reason.....red light blinks 4 times...stops....blinks 4 times ...stops...etc
wont come back on untill i unplug it for a few minutes

    The red light on the tv is blinking 3 times then stops

I have the same model and have the same problem. I have an Onkyo receiver that connections to the TV via HDMI cables. If I turn the TV power on first and then the receiver I don't get the blinks.

We had a Pioneer that did the same thing. We called a Pioneer Service Center. It appears there was a recall on the Power Supply. They fixed it in our home at not charge.
