The convergence bows at all sides is there an easy fix or do i need to replace modual and if so what does it look like
Check power supply voltages that run convergence circuit.(small PCB mounted above main PCB's with Stk 730-020 on it ???) Note:Free estimates are usually worth the same amount you paid.....An accurate diagnosis by a senior tech is usually worth it,esp.if your intention is to repair and the diagnosis fee applies to the repair cost.

I wish it was that simple. On this chassis there are many parts that have gone bad in the past to cause this very symptom. So many in fact that there is a repair kit available that contains common failure parts p/n 250686-KIT. This is NOT a DIY project as many of the parts are small and would be hard to locate and impossible to replace by anyone not having superior soldering skills. It would not surprise me if the repair on this set would set you back about $350. If you can get a free estimate, great, but if you can swing it, you may be better off putting that money towards a new DLP rear projection NON RCA HDTV. I have had good luck with Toshiba sets for the last several years, and Consumer Reports seem to agree with me.

nO DIGITAL CONVERGENCE, IT HAS TO BE THE SUPPLY, REPLACED THE STK 730-130, worked for 30 minutes, possibly the +13 volts from the digital board is weak, I'll replace chip again and check other possibilities, wish I get the kit, rCA made a late production where they added an fet and a regulator to replace the Big IC, actually the 250688 is the old, and the 250686 is the late model, I purchased the CD for service, if all else fails and I can get the parts, I will try to adapt the old supply to the new specs....RJ
