I have an older Denon receiver (DRA 275), up to this point absolutely no problems. One day, it doesn't seem to turn on. There is still power going to the unit as both the switched and unswitched AC plugs in the back still work. So I figure it's a fuse or somethign for the display or main on/off switch. Is there an internal fuse? Any other suggestions?

These recievers were infamous for the power transformers going bad(opening) if more than 2 speakers were hooked up and it was cranked up.Did it die while playing?Do you have 4 or more speakers hooked up?Was there a power surge?Let me know........

Try to reset the macroprocessor. Unplug the unit from AC, hold both buttons SPEAKER A and SPEAKER B and plug the cord in outlet. After display flashes several times release the buttons. No result? - repair shop.

Right on!
Jumpers was my problem. Luckily I had a pr. of short RCA's because my NAD jumpers were too small to reach across.

I have the same problem...or at least vERY similar. The 125V, 4 A fue will blow with a nice flash as soon as I turn on the power. This fuse is the "125V hot side". Transiformer problems????
SUggestion? Ideas?
Thank you
i also have the exact same problem. trouble free until one day it just didn't work. still has power.
My device seems to have overheated. It was smoking and everything. Now it wont power on. How do I fix this.
Same problem. 5 amp/125 watt fuse blows as soon as power is turned on. Help please.
Product blows fuse 4A/125V when powers on. If I disconnet the 4 wire connector to the main board, everything is OK. So I suspect that I have a short on the Main board. Any suggestions for a fix?
