Forgot password, attempted too many times. Screen reads iPOD is disabled try again in 22,262,256 minutes
Take to apple shop or go to iTunes on pc
If your iPod is disabled from a passcode that is entered too many times you'll want to follow:
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1212
It will instruct your to put your iPod into recovery mode to do a restore to factory setting (this will erase the iPod).
If you have a backup available, that doesn't have the passcode in it then use:
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203977
Be warned that if the passcode is on the backup and you do not know the code, then you will be back to square one and have to restore it to factory settings again. Good luck!

You will need to do a 'Hard reset' !
This is how the the procedure goes for the ipod touch:
- While plugged into ITunes, Hold down the power and home keys down for 10+ seconds. - - Screen will go black
- Release the power
button but keep holding the home key until itunes says 'We have
detected an itouch in recovery mode'
- Restore as normal via iTunes
Hope it helps!
