Question about Dacor Ovens
Dacor Epicure Oven 30" double oven (electric) with convection bake for top and bottom ovens. Ten years old at least. Tried the reset button already but did not fix the problem, What should I do?
It could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

The control switch may be bad on it. If there are 2 elements on the top, they both are not bad at the same time.Check to see if the wires have not burned off the control switch first. Check to see if your breakers are O.K. Turn them both(maybe 3) off and then reset.

SOURCE: oven won't heat
Check your main panel. If you ran it for a long time with the door open, the elements never reached their shutoff temperature. Quite possibly, you burned them out.
