How do you put quinny zap adapters into the frame?

Quinny don't produce adaptors for using a Britax model carseat in the chassis. The adaptors supplied with the Quinny are designed for using with Maxi-Cosi Pebble or Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix carseat only. They are not suitable for use with another make / model carseat.

If the adaptors have been purchased from Britax they have been manufactured and tested by Britax so in the event of having any issues with the fitting you would need to speak with Britax about it. You can send the chassis into the Quinny engineers for removal of the adaptors if required this would be chargeable at standard cost 39.99 GBP as this is not covered by warranty.

We do not advise doing so. The Quinny Buzz seat unit should only be used with a Quinny Buzz chassis and likewise the Maxi Cosi Foray seat unit should only be used with a Maxi Cosi Foray chassis. A combination of the two has not been tested or approved for safety standards and we cannot guarantee the safety of using such a combination.

The adaptors from the 2005 model should only be used with the 2005 model chassis. In this combination the current model carrycot and carseat may be fitted.

The Quinny Dreami should not be used on a Maxi Cosi branded product as we do not have testing approval / safety certificates required to confirm suitability.

Maxi Cosi Mila is not suitable for use with a carrycot attachment. It should only be used with Maxi Cosi carseat on top of seat unit.

Slight movement is necessary as this allows for a hammock effect to prevent the baby in the carseat feeling every jolt on the way. With the weight of baby in the carseat on the chassis the movement will be less noticeable. As long as the adaptors are fitted correctly to the chassis and the carseat has been placed onto the adaptors correctly there should be no cause for concern. If you are worried that it seems to move a lot, compare your model to a shop display model and if it does seem excessive you can send your product in for our engineers to provide inspection & repair under the Quinny warranty.

At the bottom of the handle of the carseat, there will be a silver button (both sides). Press these buttons in and the carseat will release.

Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).

The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hi there, I've just had the same problem with a freestyle 3 xl (having lost the adapters for the dreami carrycot & maxi cosi car seat).
