My temp light keep blinking

When the temp light is blinking, that indicates that one (or more) of the cooling fan has stopped spinning. The TV will stay off to protect itself from overheating until the fan is replaced. There are two fans. One is available here: http://www.encompassparts.com/products/?GS01131 ; the other is http://www.partstore.com/Part/Hitachi+Ltd/Hitachi/GS00931/New.aspx .

Retrevo has the manual for the Hitachi 50V710 here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/Hitachi-50V710-TVs-manual/id/372ag010/t/2/ . You will need to enter the code to access the file.

I hope this helps.

Cooling fan is loud on initial start up and calms down after a couple hours use. Can I change out the fan and what is the part number on the HL-P4663W?

This tv internal curcuitries and manchanical design have a colors wheel in it.The tv have loud squiling noises, motor noises, black&white or colors flickers and fating. All the effect of the tv colors wheel is dying and spinning off of it motor axis.Cooling fan make noises for a couple hours, calm down,no way.The fan would have stop functioning, way before that.

Sharp XR-10X projector. Makes a loud whirring noise when trying to turn on. Bulb starts to turn on then doesn't. It's not the fans because I opened up the projector, disconnected the fans and it still...

the colorwheel motor bearings are starting to go. you'll need to replace the colorwheel. you can get the part from a sharp service center and do it yourself or send it to one for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

My 60v500a fans runs continuously after shut down.

I think its a thermal sensor that is stuck open is my expert opinion the powersupply relay would have nothing to do with this. Get a service manual you will see what I am saying.

Thanks and 4 thumbs up for the hero would help.

Overheat led blinking

Did you ever get a answer to this question? I have a hitachi 50vs810 with the same problem. I found the same sensor "tokin ohd3-90m."
I ohmed across mine and it shows open. I then held my lighter under it and it stayed open. I suspect this part is bad so I tried jumping it out. No change. Still have the same blinking temp light.
So... in the end I don't know if I tested it right or not either. Good luck and let me know if you learned anything that can help me out.
