Question about Andis 18050 Hair Trimmer

Shaver no longer cutting well

I have cleaned adjusted and the razor mc-2 andis does not cut my poodle well any longer should i replace the blade parts, which are the parts to replace to have it cut well again?

Have you been keeping the blades cleaned and oiled well? How long have you had the clipper it may be that you need a new blade? This trimmer is not truly intended to do a complete clip on a poodle it is for trimming. Please call Andis customer service at 1-800-558-9441 for further instruction.

Sometimes the new blades from Andis are not sharpen enough to get that clean cut. also all trimmers need to be readjusted for power and alignment, plus sharpening the blade, it look like you need a complete sharpen & service on your Andis trimmer. check out Manny's Sharpening they have a Mail Order service, the service they provide is fast and they will sharpen make all the adjustment and give your trimmer more power and the blade will cut clean. They will even adjust the blade at your request on how you want that blade to be set at. Line Ups or Fade Cuts and even shave set. Same problem as some of the other, does not cut just pulls. I went and got new blades and that didn't help either. HELP! hairy poodle!
If you have tried a new blade it must be a fault with the clipper. Usually a good place to start is the drive lever

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like the blades need to be sharpened, refer to the shavers brand name plus .com for blade replacement or replace the shaver.

My andis t-outliner keeps pulling hair when cutting and it barley cuts the hair. Do the blades need adjusting?
sound like your clipper blades may require sharpening, just remove the blades and send them to a professional company specialising in scissor and clipper sharpening.

You probably need a new blade drive, which is easily replaced yourself, if you are so inclined.

blades has to be set precisely,only then will you get a crisp cut.

Wahl razor's not cutting, how do I fix it?
have you tried taking apart the blades and replacing them so that they line up together? Have you had a professional shear sharpener look at your blades? mabie all they need is to be sharpened again. Blades like knives or scissors need to be sharpened every once in a while. Also try replacing the blades with a new ones. The blades may have worn out. also try oiling the blades every once in a while.
