Who really knows? I work at a shop and 30% of the parts we get are wrong. This is from people that are supposed to know the parts. All you can really do is match it with the old one.

you forgot to save it , as the oper guide tell you ,before battery pull or death.
so off to dealer you go or certified, lock smith shop.

SERIAL NUMBER ON THE GUN CAN BE LOOKED UP

Engine oil specifications for Peugeot 306 1.6 petrol engine:

1. SAE 5W-40, API SH or SG, for temperatures between -30 Celsius deg. and +40 Celsius deg.
2. SAE 10W-40, API SH or SG, for temperatures between -15 Celsius deg. and +40 Celsius deg.
3. SAE 15W-40, API SH or SG, for temperatures between -10 Celsius deg. and +40 Celsius deg.
4. SAE 15W-50, API SH or SG, for temperatures between -10 Celsius deg. and +50 Celsius deg.
5. SAE 20W-50, API SH or SG, for temperatures between -5 Celsius deg. and +50 Celsius deg.

If I'm for sure I don't think your digit code would be with the vin #. I would check your owners manual or ask a Honda mechanic. Hope this helps!?

ramblers were a mixture of the" big three" back in the '60s you might see if a steering box from a dodge ram series pickups or ford f series pickups may fit. also,check closely on the steering box for a casting number,parts suppliers use these numbers as a cross reference to match other steering boxes to your application.

The car came with 2 cards with the code written on them. If you can't find these cards or it was not written down in your owner's manual, you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off it. With this serial # Honda can supply the code. Better write it down for future battery replacement.Also found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood. It's a 5-digit number and is not labeled.

call or stop by your local honda dealer. they should be able to help you. there shouldnt be a charge.
