Question about Alpine IVA-W200 2-DIN DVD/CD/MP3/WMA Receiver Car Video Player
I have the Alpine iva W200 i bypassed the video lock screen so i can play the dvd while car is in motion. The problem im having is after 20 minutes of driving when i try to bypass the video lock out it wont let me. I narrowed it down to the heat in the car because the vents are right above it. If i turn on the ac for a few minutes then i am able once again to bypass the lock out screen. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if so is there a remedy? Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.
Well i have a alpine cva1004r multimedia screen.and the way inwich i use my screen when the vehicle is in motion is, i connect the wire(normally brown and yellow on alpine screens)which goes to the hand brake(so when you let the hand brake of it cuts the screen out)direct to earth as this wire is only a earth. if you have allready done this then all i can suggest is to turn the heater vents off next to your head unit. hope this helps.
