Re: Problem with Headset
Make sure that the recording software is installed.
Goto start -> control panel -> Sound and audio devices
now if you look towards the top, you'll see 5 tabs. We'll be paying attention to "Audio" and "Voice". Both of them should have a "default device" listed in there, if it's greyed out, then it's not working.
If you have a Dell, you should have a CD that has all the device drivers located on it. If you don't, you can call dell to have them send you one, or you can look manually on their website for each driver according to the computer type.

Follow these steps for recording the headset.
Connect the headset to your device by Bluetooth and USB port.
Click on the start button and type "sound" into your search box.
Open the sound settings.
Click on the windows recording and click the entry for your headset.
Click on set default and close the window.
OPen a recording program such as Sound recorder, a program native to the window.
set on the headset, click Record and speak into the microphone.
Click on save for saving a recording.
Reinstall video driver. Download and install VLC media player and K-Lite Codec. Both are free downloads and you can easily find the download links by doing a google search.
i have cyber acoustics headset and i cant hear anything but my Mic works, my sound is all fine, when i plug my headset out i can hear but when its plugged in, i cant hear anything.
Does your headset have two plugs? One will plug into the mic jack that would be your Microphone. The ear part plugs into your sound out or speaker out.
First Right click on the sound Icon besides your clock on the bottom right hand side of your screen. Click on sounds. Then on the Playback Tab you should see: ""Internal Speaker/Headphones"".Click On Properties and then On the Tab that says levels. Then just Simply adjust the volume.
