What is the ceiling mount method for Wharfdale 3190 speakers

There are 4 bolt holes on top of the speakers and 4 on the bottem where U shape brakets attach to mount the speakers to the wall. Are the top bolt nut plates capable of supporting the weight of the speakers or will they pull out? I would like to know how these speakers can be flown from the ceiling.

SOURCE: dont know what size bolts

you should use minimum of 1/4" lag bolts by 2'" long.
Find a wall stud, and drive the bolts(one above the other into the wall through the mounting bracket holes.

SOURCE: Weight of TV...in order to select proper wall/ceiling mount

Quick solution:
Weigh yourself on a scale. If you can, pick up the TV and step on the scale again. The difference between the two readings is the weight of your TV.

Do you want to know how I fixed my problem? I asked someone who wasn't a complete A-hole, thats how! They told me how to fix it without giving me the run around like Fixya did! Having me spend time typing out and submitting my question only to tell me..." Oh yeah, we might be able to help, or maybe not. Just pay us first and we'll let you know." You guys are a joke! Why doesn't Fixya answer the first question, so people would know if they even have the ability. Yeah, whatever. So, SeeYa FixYa adioss over and out blowholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: Can't get face plate off of MTX 610CM ceiling speakers

Its a pain, espicially if the grills were painted before installation.

In the industry we use a "grill puller" which is nothing more then a wire hook with a loop for your finger.

If the holes are big enough bend a paperclip into a hook, grab it with needle nose pliars and pull the grill through the hole near the edge.

If it doesn't fit then use a small pointed knife or awl, stick the point in a grill hole around the egde and pull it down a bit, work your way around until you can grab the grill with your fingers.

Let me know if you need anymore guidance......be careful I've replaced alot of destroyed speakers!

Cheers,

Kevin

Cant get bolts out of cv axel support braket in a mazda 626

This is a bracket mount that has the axle shaft going thru it on the passenger side . the axle must be removed from mount before it can be removed . there is a single bolt that presses against the axle shaft bearing and a snap ring that holds the bearing in the mount once removed the axle will slide out .

Fujifilm s5000 battery door broken

g'day
i broke mine a couple of years ago and fixed it by drilling and tapping two holes to suit 6-32 x 11/4" bolts as shown in the attached photo... one of the holes had to be enlarged to suit 6mm x20 because the thread is in a very flimsy area and had stripped
BTW the battery cover doesnt have to be removed from the camera as is shown in the photo! the photo was taken after i disassembled the camera for another repair

it works well with a couple of provisos...
1- the bolt heads may get in the way of mounting the camera on some tripods without modification
2-not as quick to change the batteries
3- dont screw the bolts down too tight - or the threads will strip

before this method i made a metal plate, the same shape as the base of the camera and used the camera tripod socket to attach it... thus keeping the battery door closed [ the advantage of this was that i could drill and tap a thread to attach the lot to a tripod - and the tripod mounting hole could be ia the centreline of the lens - making panoramas easier]11_28_2011_10_48_37_am.jpg

Does the caliper mounting braket bolts slide into the caliper to enable the caliper to slide over the extra thickness of the new brake pads? I have already got the caliper all the way in but it still won't...

Do you have the actual caliper piston fully pushed into the rear of the caliper? Not the bolts, the piston. It's in the center of the caliper and about as big around as the bottom of a tin can.

At the back of the tv , where the wall braket get fixed to, the are four fixings (these are similar to alan key fixings) do I hve to remove these or is this where the daimeter bolts go , there are no...

Only phillips head screws should be removed from the mounting holes, Do Not remove any other screws with alan or any other heads as it may damage the set. Most of the time the holes are open that the mount goes into, or they have a plastic screw.

What size are the mounting screws?

The brass mounting holes on the bottom of Hitachi data projectors require a 4mm bolt.

Typicall 4mm x 10 is the shortest bolt I will use if when installing a projector on a ceiling mount, and 4mm x 20 will be the longest. I also recommend picking up 3 washers and spacers of varying sizes if you want to insure the projector is mounted level without warping whatever it is you are attaching it to.

BMS makes great locking mounts that come with all the mounting hardware you'd need to attach a projector to it.

How to remove rear shocks in my 1997 ford eplorer

There should be 2 bolts in a bow-tie shaped braket on the top of the shock, with a nut on the other side, through the frame. There should be one large bolt and nut on the bottom of the shock, through a braket on the rear axle.

Lift the vehicle up by the frame on both sides, so that the axle is dangling underneath the vehicle, and the shocks should be very easy to remove and reinstall.
