Stylus cx6600 The problem I have is that when i try to print, the paper gets creased up just as it goes into the printer and then it says paper jam. I have tried cleaning out the whole thing and even reset the printer but nothing seems to be working. There is ink alright but I can't understand why the paper gets creased up just as it takes it in. Can anybody help please/

I would suggest thast a foreign object has entered the printer mechanism. Tip the unit on it's back and gently bash it to try and dislodge whatever hmay have fallen in. If nothing comes out, try feeding a thick piece of card backward throught the paper path. A card like off the back of an A5 refill or shorthand pad is usually thick enough. Be carefull when you are working near the end where the head parks as theere is a sensor in that end. Breaking it off would not be a good thing! Feed the card in and out across the width whilst the machine is on it's back. This way if any is dislodged is should fall out the same way it went in.

Sounds like a paper pick up or alignment issue, if your machine is under warranty claim it. If not these parts can be replaced but will cost you

Epson Stylus CX6600 wont power up/scan light turns on then goes off.

this may help...
Check that all the access doors and compartments are closed correctly.
Check paper isn't jammed.
Take out the all the ink cartilages and reset them in correctly
Make sure the rollers are set in place correctly, (if there removable)
Hope this helps a bit

My cx6600 has a paper jam and can't seem to get it to get it un jammed

if you have kids, then you may have something such as a band-aid or such stuck in the rollers, try using a 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of poster paper and run it thru the machine to get it (or other things like bottle caps) unstuck.

I have an Epson Stylus CX6600 and a sheet of paper has just jammed, can anyone help please.

After reading some of the others I felt I could very gently pull the paper through from the front not the back of the printer, it came away in bits as it was well sodden with ink, I used a pair of long tweezers to get at the little bits and then had to print several sheets to get rid of the smudged pages, but that seems to have done the trick and its now printing ok. Many thanks.

Printer starts and paper goes in but starts to

hi,
it may be due to the moisture in paper. try new paper bundle .
if problem still continue this problem is due to the feeder assembly problem. clean the roller. then check it for allignment.

My Epson Stylus CX6600 will not load paper into the machine.

With a flashlight, look into the throat of the paper feed mechanism. Remove any foreign material. Also, look at the edge of the paper you're trying to get it to accept. If the edge is uneven or the paper is the wrong thickness, problems arise. Located at the far left side of the paper outfeed slot, there is a lever to select between cut paper and envelopes. Position this lever to correspond to the paper you're trying to insert

My Epson DX4000 Printer keeps getting paper jams and wont print

still printing but the paper goes no further?. It may be the paper is locked by paper feeder mecahnics, Open case, check it, and may be there is something "material" broke.

I press print. It acts all busy and loud. Prints NOTHING

If paper is feeding through and you don't get any errors try this: Try doing 4 to 5 head cleans, wait about 10 hours for the ink to soften and do another 3 or 4 cleans with a nozzle check after each. You should see a gradual improvement in the nozzle checks. If there is no improvement then you need a head cleaning solution such as this one:

Others are available just try googling "inkjet head cleaning".
Hope this helps.
Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

Paper feed problem

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Paper feeder

You probably is working with paper excessively wet. Even when you cannot detect the moiture can be present in the paper. Try to use a paper dryer (there are for sale in computers stores). Dont use to leave the sheets in the printer when you are not printing, leave them in the dryer.
