Good morning. We have a Sony FWD-50PX1 display. When we attach a laptop (mutiple) for presentations the colors do not display properly. There is a pink tinge to it.

    Our display is also green.

Sounds like you need a white balance adjust, call a local service center, you could do it yourself but you will need access to the factory mode, I don't know how to get into the factory mode for that model

Is there anywhere to purchase a HDMI card FWD-50PX1

I don't think they exist, I would try contacting Sony directly first.

Is it imperative you have HDMI? I can recommend an excellent HDMI to component video converter if you are using an HDMI only source.

Cheers,

Sony KDF-50WE655

your issue is more than likely in the optical assy but make sure its not the lvds cable. when technicians remove the optical assy alot of times they will forget to remove the lvds cable and it ggets damaged.

Plasma flat display

in plasma tvs when the screen is all black the most common fix is your y-sus board. if your tv still turns on ( led in front of tv comes on) and you have all of your voltages coming from the smps board then i would get a new y-sus board.

try changing the channel with the original remote or by the tv's physical controls. It sounds like it has switch to an AV channel.
