Projector Problems I bought the InFocus Screenplay 4805 about 2 years ago. It has been a great unit until recently I went to turn it on and nothing happened. No lights, no noise, nothing. I tried plugging it in to another outlet that I new worked and still nothing. I opened the case up and noticed a ceramic fuse. Is there a way to test the fuse to see if it is blown? It is also removable and the number on it is t5a250v. Should I pursue changing the fuse or do you think there is a nother fix? RadioShack was no help and I have not been able to find it on the net. Please help

My 4805 infocus bulb has only 500 hours but now it doesnt light up. The led green light is on without any blinking and the remote doesnt work with the projector..can't even turn it off. Any suggestions?

You must replace the lamp. If the lamp is not fired nothing else works. Their lamp runs for 700 hrs max based on my experience. That was about 2 years of usage for me and after I replaced the lamp everything worked

Sounds like the fuse popped. t5a=5 amps 250v=250 volts So you will need a fast-acting 5 amp 250 volt fuse

Projector stays on for 3 minutes then turns itself off

Hi Chipped Rice

The loud buzzing noise you heard was the colourwheel that gave in.

Now what happens is , the machine will turn on and go through the whole cycle and as soon as the colourwheel is supposed to start doing it's stuff the Projector will switch off because there is no response from the coulourwheel itself.

You will have to replace the colourwheel unfortunately as it cannot be fixed.
