at 12 years old , could be the bearings but it would be uneconomical to repair
It will the shaft seal and at 12 years it is probably no longer a service item

KitchenAid KBFS22EWMS4 less than a year old. Have repaired water hose twice ourselves and when another leak occurred we called repairman who replaced the entire hose saying the delivery people may have run...

Check the entire length of the hose to see if it has been rubbing on something. When the machines spin parts inside if not secured move around a lot and there are many sharp pieces inside the machines.

Why is vacuum condenser light blinking

this is usually a leak in the evap coil,if it's under 12 years old the coil is still under warranty.sub zero is a great machine, the only problem is that the evap coil behind the back wall in the fridge section leaks or a hole develops.the freon leaks out and the fridge section will continue to get warmer, the vacumm coil lite will come on.i've seen this happen to some machines that are 3 years old it happens.you need to get a tech in,he'll recover the gas, evacuate it,replace the coil and add new freon in,if it's under warranty it will be 650 to 750,or if not under warranty 11 to 12 hundred dollars to repair.

I have a 20 year old GE refrigerator. It has R12 charging ports on it, but my gauges either need a special tool or adapter to connect to them. The ports are round with a hole with female threads inside....

  • Hi, R-12 is heavily regulated and unavailable and illegal for anyone to use that is not licensed. Although R-12 is superior to many refrigerants in the cooling ability.
  • While many people convert R-12 to R134 the refrigerants are different and R134 can eat away at the compressor and lines once filled with R-12. The same is true with automobiles as well.
  • It's the same adapter as what a vehicle uses for R-12 refrigerant systems though.
  • With the cost of parts to do any conversion and the repair needed to repair your leak for a recharge of that expensive R-12 it would be cheaper to buy a nice use refrigerator.
  • If you want to stick with the R-12 then you will have to have someone certified look.

  • If you have any comments please feel free to leave them here.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

Hohner 12 hole Chromatic, Super Chromonica. A # is " flat."

You can take it apart by removing the two screws, see if any of the reels seem blocked or obstructed by dirt, bits of dust, oxydation (greenish crystalline stuff) or similar, try to remove the stuff that seems to obstruct the reel with a medium hardness paintbrush (you might want to use some alcohol), but be very careful not to permanently bend or otherwise damage the reels, it will ruin the sound of the harmonica.

Need technical diagram of single hole faucet

Not sure where to find the diagram, but what type of faucet is it and where is it leaking? It it's a single lever, remove the hot/cold indicator to uncover an allen set screw. Loosen it and remove the lever, then the outer bushing nut. Now you'll have access to the interior parts around the cartridge (make sure you turn the water off to the supply lines before proceeding further). If it's the two handle type, remove the index buttons from the top of each handle to uncover a screw with either a slotted or phillips head. Remove the screws and remove the handles. You now have access to the valves and seats. If it's a 12-year-old faucet, the o-rings and seats will probably need to be replaced and this will fix your problem. If it's a single lever type, you'll need to replace the seats and springs and it will probably solve the problem.

Bostich N80 Framing nailer

Sorry about the delayed response. This unit needs to have the O-rings replaced. The return of the firing pin is not happening correctly. This means that the pressure release holes are still engaged. When the pin pushes out the nail, the return should cause the holes to get covered. If there is an air leak, the return will not complete resulting in an even larger air leak which is what you are now seeing. This is a relatively simple repair for any shop that handles these and would be considered a standard maintenance effort. These are decent tools and with proper maintenance will last for years. Mine is over 22years old and going string.

Water Leak

when you clamped it down you will have to add a 1/2 inch pipe ,about 5 inches is long enough.Use the pipe to clamp your hose to with adjustable clamps not Spring clamps. The pipe serves as a union here. Please rate this !
