Although the PS3 is becoming popular, many of us decided to stay with the PS2. There are more games, cheaper products, and more buying opportunities. Hey, you can even download PS2 games on the Internet. Of course, these games will get a lot of use (because they are awesome!) And finally, you want to know how to fix scratched PS2 games. This article will help you.

Is it merely scratched or dirty?

Sometimes the problem is not our game from scratch. Seriously, read a lot of PS2 games down scratches, but it is really a problem, is covered with gook. Try cleaning the disc before trying to set up out of nowhere (or maybe to work evil that is needed).

It is scratched! How can you solve this problem?

It's actually really easy to fix scratched PS2 games. This is what you need.

Baking Soda Toothpaste

lint-free cloth (eyeglasses cloth is perfect)

Before you begin, you should know that this is not a good idea to erase your hard disk in circles. Unlike the old records (which had to follow the path), PS2 should rub right center to outer edge. Cleaning does more harm circles and want to avoid that.

5 easy steps to fix scratched PS2 games

Put a little 'slide of warm water.

apply a little toothpaste on your rag

RUB (as shown) at the height of the area and around it. It is not difficult to fix scratches on ps2 at all. There is a problem with this method, however, you can do it too often. Know that you are cutting down on the plastic surface to crack some PS2 feel low. If you do it too often, so you do not have a plastic bumper on the left and the data layer of aluminum foil to be destroyed. Serious problems (or repeated injury), the best thing is to go back to the plate.

this isn't my area of expertise but if you really wish to play resident evil, go on doperoms.com and go to emulators, choose a psx emulator and then download it then you can download any ps1 roms like resident evil and play them for free on your computer. it doesn't take a powerful computer, these games will run on an iphone 3g, leave a good rating if this helps
IF THE ONE WITH BLUE ON BOTTOM IS ORIGINAL AND THE ONE WITH SILVER IS PIRATED,IT MEANS THAT UR PS2 ONLY LOADS ORIGINAL DISCS. HAVE U TRIED LOADING ORIGINAL DVD WITH SILVER BOTTOM?
Give more details on ur problem (whether u r not able to run duplicate dvd or can only play dvds which u bought along with ps2)
Try to send it back to the seller. The original Playstation (or PS1) is pretty old - like over 10 years old. That's a long time for a video game console to last; especially it it ever got used alot. I hope that you did not pay much for it. I personally wouldn't buy anything that old unless I had alot of PS1 games laying around that I loved to play. If you can't return your PS1 for a refund, then I would suggest buying a PS2; if you're not in the market for a PS3. There are tons of games out for the PS2 and they still occasionally make new games for the PS2. You can find new or used PS2 consoles at Game Stop, Walmart, Meijer, eBay, & etc.
There are multiple "Mods" which can be performed on a PSP (as well as on newer consoles as well).
Some are hardware mods (the addition of chips which expand or bypass (depending on a particular mod) to allow the recognition and playback of various formats, such as 3rd party software. The problem with modding is that if someone isn't careful, the mod can also brick the system (keep it from recognizing the original, retail PS2 games, movies, etc....
Besides that, I can't tell you much more about pirating software, since it's illegal and I'm no advocate of that. You should ask your friend what specific "Mod" was performed, if that's even the case.
PS.. My advice - Don't let anyone modify the hardware on any of your devices, unless you don't care if they ever work again. Also, you can't play online games/content with modded systems...since they are automatically detected and banned from the servers.
check the chip u modified, it may have loose connections coz i had encounter those problems before, if it wont solve ur problem it may need a replacement as well as ur lens...
