Pin code blocked as well.
If you still have attempts to put in a puk code, go to attwireless.com.
log on to your account, click on phone/device, choose your line, and theres a link to unblock your sim.

I called AT&T (My provider) and this is what u gotta do:
Tell them about how U tried to enter ur pin and PUK and then it got blocked and stuff. their gonna ask u the number and also ur social security number. basically right now, ur sim is screwed. If U tell them ur SS number they will put a note in ur account for a free sim card so thats wut u gotta do
Basically, if you tried your PUK Code all 10 times, you're SIM is screwed and no matter what you must get new one. if you didnt use all tries but MUST enter it, CALL YOUR PROVIDER (AT&T) IMMEDIATELY. If you used all tries, call at&t and tell about your problem. give them ur SS code or whoever's code its a must and you can get 1 free sim card (new) from a local at&t retailer

I had the same problem and you have to call 611 on a cell phone or the att customer support number and tell them that wile u wer tryining to set a security pin it got locked up and asked for a PUK code and they will give you a number to type in and give u firections from ther...(this only works if u still hav "attempts left")
This happened to me too. I called my provider and they said i pretty much fried my phone. They said to go to the AT&T store and buy a new sims card. I was a good costumer so they gave it to me free! ;)
I have had the same thing happen to me twice...
First if this happens you have 10 trys, don't randomly press numbers, because after 10 trys; your sim card is permanantley blocked. Once you sim card is blocked theres no way around it, u have to buy a new sim card. IF you card is blocked, ur screen should say PUK BLOCKED, puk stand for personal user key. IF you card is not blocked it should say you have blank to 10 more try left, DON'T press anything, imediatly go to ur local priviter via, verison, at&t, sprint, mobil, what ever it is an they can solve the code. This is only if u have any try left.

Its not your phone you can put your sims card in another phone and it will be blocked . you need to call the servise provider and tell them to unlock your simscard and it will work again

Ummm i have this phone the puk is locked??? not the simcard then its the phone being locked and the only thing you can do is factory reset the phone itself not the sim or anything to do with it.. If you go to unlocked your gsm.. some do it by entering numbers the safe way, the unsafe way they open the phone and factory reset which would also reset the code on the phone.. Hope this helps i had the same problem i bought a phone with the puk on..
You have to go to your service providers store and get a new sim card.

it sounds like you locked your sim card out of your phone, i recommend getting a new at&t sim card and that should fix the problem

was messin with my phone 2day and i thought i'd change the pin code 4 fun, so i tried to set a new one (not knowing that the default was 1111), i thought it would be like the last 4 digits of ur # or sumething. after i used up my 3 tries it gave me like 10 more and i used 9 of em. i went on here and looked 4 a solution and i found it. i was going 2 go get my phone from my room when i saw that my bro had benn trying to use it and that he had tried to unlock it and obviously had no idea what he was doing so now my sim card is completely screwed and so am i.
