Jumpy picture Hello,
This problem just started tonight. The picture is jumpy. The jumps are small but constant and distracting. It also looks like there are brief periods where there are less lines of resolution. The problem exists when we use Direct TV or the dvd player. We have no other inputs in use. The picture seems to jump less with the dvd player. This TV was purchased 12/19/03. Is there any hope for this patient?

If this set uses a picture tube then your problem may be in the vertical deflection circuit. Also an unstable power supply will cause this problem.
