Hi, How to change default settings from auto to always print ltr? Thanks

The copier used to print LTR even when we put a small size paper for example ID without it asking us what size paper to choose. I accidentally change the settings to Auto paper select and every time we put a small size it would ask us to choose paper size. Thanks

It doesn't have the option to store copy setting

I beg to differ......let me try to be clearer with the answer.....call up the desired screen by hitting additional functions---copy settings---standard settings-----then select store (not initialize). Remember to first select the letter tray under paper select before you go into add functions to store the setting. Hope this helps.

Do you by any change know how to set the copy ratio from letter size to legal size? The only options we have is lgl-ltr, 11x17 to ltr or stmt, 25% min, 800% ma, 400%, 200% to stmt or 11x17, 129% ltr-11x17 and 121% lgl - 11x17. Thanks

    oops chance

all I could suggest is that you play with reduce / enlarge . The copier will let you adjust in 1 percent increments if no standard setting gives you the result you want. Look for the zoom keys.

You can program the copier to just print from the letter tray by choosing the letter cassette on the display and then immediately hit the additional functions key....select copy settings and scroll through until you see the store current settings option which will make it default to the letter cassette every time. Try to do an internet search for the ir2200 operators manual. A lot of the time the book is available for free download and the customer settings are outlined in great detail in that book. Good luck.

Paper keeps jamming

I would look to see if the paper tray's Dials are set to the correct paper size as the paper in the paper tray.. LTR size set to LTR or LTR-R set to LTR-R if the dial is set to the wrong size the copier will jam all the time. Due to a timing issue, the copier thinks it has one size, but actually is try to make a copy on different size... Good Luck

My Cannon ImageRUNNER 2270 is not printing the entire page. It is cutting off the top quarter of the page. I have changed the margin settings and it is not doing anything different.

Check to make sure that the paper size dial on the paper cassette is the same as the paper size in the cassette. Portrait or landscape? I don't know whether you use American sized paper but the dial Must be LTR ( front to rear orientation of paper ) or LTR-R ( Left to right orientation ). I know of no other reason for the problem.

We tried printing and copying with the setting set at LTR and LTR-R and we checked the paper tray and every time we make a copy or print it prints out the entire document perfectly centered across the...

It seems to me to be a problem of the Blue paper cassette size dial is set wrong. First see what the settings are from the display by pressing the paper select button. Most people have it set for the upper cassette to be LTR ( 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper - length running from front to rear in the cassette ) and the lower cassette to be LTR-R ( 8 1/2 X 11 inch ) or Legal ( paper length running left to right). Check to make sure the blue dial agrees with what's in the cassette. Try doing the testing by putting the paper on the glass first and closing the top. If this is correct and the problem is in the Documnet feeder then one of the raised flags may be broken or the sensor bad. The left one is for letter, the second one for LTR-R or legal and the third is for 11 X 17. The opening and closing fo the side guides also helps to determine paper size. Hope this helps you.

Lexmark T632 says "Load MP Feeder Letter

Hi Pqpoppa,
Check the paper size setting in the printer. Set it to the paper size you normally use such as A4 and the default tray. Check the default paper size in the printer driver in your computer and the default tray. Finally, check the paper size of the document you are printing. If all these match, it should not try to be smart and ask you to feed paper.
