Wireless Adapter Will Not Power Off

This is my second day to use the Logitech Wireless headset and it's a no-go. The wireless adapter will not power off. The unit is charged, my Ipod is charged but I don't think the adapter is "talking to" the ipod. Any ideas?

SOURCE: Hi, I purchased two units of logitech cordless

Your friend should be able to use the headset if your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature. THe computer will send and receive the Bluetooth signals with one transmitter/receiver like your computer does and then connect to the wireless lan with a different transmitter/receiver system on a different frequency. Just make sure your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature turned on and then setup the headset by the "pairing" process.

SOURCE: I have a short wiring in my left ear cup

Time for a new pair. If you are not handy with a sodering iron it is best to buy another set. Once the wires are broken inside the insulation the only thing that can be done is replace the wire itself. it is easy to break the wires inside the insulation twisting the cord, pulling or yanking the cord, along with blending the cord in a sharp bend acn damage this cords that they put on products today.

Cannot make Logitech H760 headset work with telephone on iPhone

This headset is not compatible with smartphones because it uses a USB wireless adapter to communicate from a computer to the headset.

I used the mute feature on my new headset and after 20 min it discontinued the call. Now the headset will not connect to the lifter. I tried resetting and it still will not connect

Sometimes just unplugging the power adapter on the base of the CS70N and letting the power drain out will help. If you can leave the unit unplugged over night that's even better. Plug it back in the next day and let your headset charge up for a few hours. Then try repairing headset to base. I have included Headsets Directs link for pairing headset to base below.

I use a H760 wireless headset of Logicool. Today, the wireless receiver usb showed only blinking green light. For 5 minutes later, the green light was disappeared. The headset didn't work. Can I...

Yes, it normally works for me to put the usb into a different usb slot. This will reinstall the driver for a different usb slot and make it work perfectly!! Make sure it is charged, and that you have powered it off and back on first.

Connecting to my motorola cell phone

According to some trouble indicated by another person, the unit must be fully charged to make the initial connection.

I didn't experience any trouble myself. However, I recommend the following:
  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your phone.
For security reasons some cellular phones will force you to turn on Bluetooth each time you turn on your phone.
  • If your cellular phone prompts you for anything when trying to connect, try entering "0000".
  • Make sure the headset is turned on before you try to find it with the phone.
The blue LED on the headset should have a slow, steady blink when the unit is on. If it's not, hold down the large button until the blue LED flashes rapidly.
  • Try connecting while the headset is connected to the power adapter.

Logitech headsets do not come with drivers. If this is a wireless headset, it could be that you are receiving interference from other wireless appliances. If you have a wireless phone, this could be the source of your interference. Researching the headset, it does run at a 2.4 Ghz, so make sure your wireless phone isn't on the same frequency, if you have one at all. Also, this is a bluetooth accessory, class 2, meaning you can't be more that 30 feet away from the usb adapter that's plugged into your computer. Also make sure that you don't have a ton of items plugged into your USB ports on you PC, as this can drain some of the power from the USB port and not supply the correct amount to your adapter. You could also try plugging in the usb adapter to a different USB port on your PC, just to make sure the port itself is not faulty. I hope some of this helps.

How to connect my mobile with my logitech handsfree via bluetooth

To connect:
- Make sure the headset is charged and turned off.
- Hold the multi-functional button for 7 to 10 seconds to set pairing mode. Pairing mode is indicated by de led flashing blue-red.
-Now connect from your phone by selecting discover devices, or something (do not own a L6i). It will find your headset.
-Select the headset and select 'pairing'. Passcode = '0000'

If pairing is successful, the flashing light will change.
