Search my other answers - Error E4 - too much condenstae in bottom catch tray
The engineer I spoke to suggested cleaning all filters and turning it off at the mains for 48 hours - it should reset. In the unlikely event of this not working call an engineer to fix.
Bdw13 showing e4 & trying to empty when no water in it
If it's any help then here is the link to the user manual (when you download it it applies to bdw13 as well even though it is labelled for the bdw14) http://www.baumatic.co.uk/products/discontinued-models/dishwashers/integrateddishwashers/BDW14 Best I could come up with is to try page 19 at the bottom of the "dishwasher doesn't run" section - there are two different types of reset which may do the job. Hope this helps :)

BDW13 dishwasher. Delay timer stuck on 17, I have tried the solution on page 19 of the baumatic manual that doesn't work. According to Baumatic 17 is the manufacturers setting therefore I must need to reset the washer but don't know how. They charge £80 for a call out and I just know they will fix it in seconds.
re-installed timer number coming on only
Hi there - I have the same problem - I have spoken to someone at their helpdesk, and like many of you, resetting doesn't seem to have done the trick. Resetting requires you first to swith on the dishwasher, then hold down the timer delay and the on/off button for more than 1 second. Apparently this resets the machine. Turn the machine on again after a further 2 seconds. Resetting didn't work for me but I have just read that the most common fault is that there is a polystyrene float under a panel at the front that trips the pump.
This is the advice from another site if your machine is out of warranty (as mine is): "underneath the door is a plate (as wide as the dishwasher) ind about 6inches high. Remove the screws and the kick board retainers, rear feet screws and prise off the plate, you should now see a float trip mechenisim, "!!!!switch off the dishwasher!!!!!" and using a sponge soak up the water, using something "Non conductive," trigger the switch a couple of times then restart the dishwasher."
