I have received 2 copies of the April 2014 Southern Living. One address has DEC14 expiration and the other has MAR16 expiration. I did renew my subscription a bit early but expected the issues to arrive concurrently not overlap so that I receive 2 monthly.

Hey there tk,

this usually happens when some other programs asides your norton auto updates thus rendering your norton to experience some errors.

But, what you can do is go to the Symantec site and download Intelligeng Updater so that it will automatically process updates for your norton and fix the issue.

you can download intelligent updater here absolutely free.

thanks again for using fixya.

2. Installing and activating Norton AntiVirus

Signed up for renewal subscription but can't activate it. i may have a virus on my computer

Hi,

If you have purchased the renewal for Norton Antivirus you van click on renew now and enter the renewal code that you have recived in the e-mail of the purchase.
If you suspect virus on the computer go to the website www.norton.com/npe there you will get a Tool called Norton Power erasor Tool , You can Download and install that Tool . Then you can run that tool . Run a scan including registry scan .

I purchase norton subscription renewal on

Pro-tip: don't use Norton. It's system hog and expensive. Better to use a free antivrus and spyware monitoring program. There's lots available at filehippo.com. I'd recommend AVG antivirus.

NAV cannot connect to the server

Try to access another antivirus website online scanner and go to windows update if you are unable to access them as well you have Win32.Worm.Downadup.Gen. It prevents any access to any antivirus software and windows updates it also turns off any installed sntiviru updates. Removal is actually really simple just go here

Message says my subscription has expired? I purchased Internet Security from Nortons on 12/7/07 why has it expired? It appars I am no longer protected and do not understand why this is.

Most of the Norton antivirus comes with one year subscription. date u mentioned here seems like more then 1 year old. That's why it says expired
If you dont want to spend any more money on antivirus then uninstall this one and download AVG from this site. this is really good antivirus for free and good for ever.

I received an e-mail stating that my Norton AntiVirus subscription is scheduled to automatically renew on September 19, 2008, I keep getting a pop-up telling me to verify my my subscription for renewal. ...

norton does not automatically renew, unless you pay, then you can update the version, either a spam e mail or pop up, only renew it when the official norton pop up tells you
