use kaspersky antivirus
go to www.kaspersky.com from your mobile and download the software

Download imate-configurator from the imate website.


Go to: http://www.imate.com

1. Enter your country name
2. Select "Support"
3. Select "Device Support"
4. Select "Your Phone"
5. Select "Patches"
6. Download i-mate configurator

install the cab file in your device, the settings will automatically be done.
You may then connect to the internet.

You can try with hard reset, i am not sure if it will work : keep pressed volume - , on/off button and reset button( from the bottom side of the device) for a few seconds

You may install programs to your Imate by using ActiveSync, just install first your activesync to you computer and then after the successull installation of the Activesync, connect your Imate to your pc using usb cable, then click activesync from your pc then it will automatically prompt you for your preferred activesync settings.

Then on installing programs, if you have the program in you pc just click the program to run and then it will automatically install it to your pc and PDA, but if you want it to install directly to your PDA, you should copy the program using activesync to your PDA, just save the prorgam file to the internal memory or to the sd memory and then from your PDA you may install it smooth and easy.

I dissambled my iMate JAMin and found that one of the wires for the speaker had been broken, they seem to be pretty weak - resoldered the wire now speaker works fine.

I had the same problem with my Jamin so sent if off to the technician who informed me the Jarmin's internal circuitry prevents the phone being charged when the battery is under a certain voltage so when you use a plug in charger because the battery has very low power it does not trip a circuit in the Jamin to start the charging process. The only solution to to take the battery out of the unit and charge it with a stand-a-lone charger. Hope this makes sense.

you can not hear any sound as the phone will not allow the bluetooth to play your songs through this devic the only way you can listen to your traks is with the headset for the phone connected

I have had the same problem with my jamin and most of times soft resetting it via the button at bottom solves it. If it happens regularly, you might want to hard reset it. please make sure you backup your data and settings etc
